1st game of the season is tonight!! Who's excited??!! I know we are!! The www.rockfordtigers.com staff will be out and about taking pictures and video and recording a bit of play by play tonight for the pee-wee's game... but unfortunately, scheduling conflicts are the norm anymore and I do have to take off to go see my Sam play at the middle school tonight too...

We Will have the Rosters up soon... I do need to have all the parents sign a release form first... I will try to get those to you at practice tonight or tomorrow.

Hey All!

Craig contacted us this morning to advise that today's practice has been moved from the school to Rockford Park. Practice will still begin at 6:00 p.m. In addition, Coach Jeff will be calling everyone to make sure that all parents are aware of the change of location.

If you thought the pee-wee/midget Jamboree was hot and humid, you should have been there last night! Visitors side at Everett gets full on evening sun... LOL!

Anyway, our boys did a great job last night, even though we lost 7-0... the new uniforms look great out there, and everyone got a chance to play, which with the size of our roster, that's a big deal! Pictures will be posted soon!

Hi everyone. Coach David told me that the Pe-wees and Midgets are having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday August 29th. It will be at Applebees on Alcoa Hwy.

GO TIGERS!!

Boy it was hot and humid this morning, but that didn't keep our boys from getting out there and giving their all! The pee-wee's took the field on defense and held the Friendsville Falcons to 4 and out. We took the ball from there and made the first 1st down of the contest! Then we went 4 and out. Friendsville got the ball and scored a TD. but we prevented the extra point!
Rockford got the ball and on the 3rd down, pass to Jacob Cowder who ran it in for the TD! They lined up for the extra point, and Nick Wright ran that in to put the Tigers up 8-6!

Hey everybody ... check out the pictures from the 2009 fall practices. I think we got pictures from every team, but if not, let us know and we'll head out with "the little camera that could" and get some more shots.

Also, if any of you have pictures that you would like to contribute, just let me know and I can set you up as a photographer right here on the site so you can upload your own shots.

Hey coaches, I was just informed that Rockford is having a back to school picnic/early registration on Friday the 24th. They are advertising that they will have inflatables and such for the kids to play on... does this mean we will be changing location of practice for that evening?

I'll get on getting a response from the coaches for all you parents and players.
