Hey everybody... this is a little late, but better late than never, right?? lol! Ok... here goes:

Last weeks's contests against the Maryville Lil Rebs resulted in losses for each of our teams... but that's ok... There were small victories all over the place in every game...

This week, however, has been excellent for our Tigers Teams... the Pee-wee's beat Friendsville 7-6!! What an exciting game.. it came right down to the wire... but those boys pulled it out! The Midgets weren't so fortunate to get a win, but they did score 2 touchdowns in their game!! Way to go boys!!

The 2010 Schedule is now posted under the Schedules tab above... all 3 teams!! Learn it... See you at the games!!

Hey Everybody... The day is FINALLY here!!! Come to Rockford School fro 11-6 today and be prepared to have a FUN DAY!!! There will be games and inflatable bouncies and crafts and food... here is the schedule for the dunking booth and the Pie throwing contest:

In the Mean time... Grasshoppers, DON"T FORGET!!! Scrimmage TONIGHT at Friendsville. No Practice for any of the teams Friday night... Then we're going to PARTY all day Saturday!!

Grasshopper Jamboree is CANCELLED tonight. I got a call from a friend who works with Parks ad Rec and there is water standing on the field. REPEAT... NO JAMBOREE TONIGHT FOR THE GRASSHOPPERS!! Instead we will be having practice at the Den at 6pm.

Hey there everybody! We've had a great season so far... won some good games in scrimmages... Really learning some good things and putting them to use out there! I'm very proud of you all!

Jamboree was hard on us this past Saturday, Pee-Wee's and Midgets... but hold your heads up high... a team that underestimates it's opponent is doomed to lose to them... or something like that... lol! But seriously... Jamboree's are not a fair test of our teams. We don't pull out the playbook.. and i think it was a huge victory just to have enough Midgets show up to be able to take the field!!

We've had a GREAT first week of practice so far!! Don't forget... Practice tonight!! Hamburgers are on the menu tonight at the Den as well as the usual... and we have some of the pulled pork left over too... special meal deal... Hamburger or chili cheese dog, chips and a drink for $5. There is a slight change in practice schedules (places, really, tonight... Grasshoppers will be practicing at Rockford Park, pee-wees and midgets are still at the tiger den field (aka, the new field).

Hey there everybody!! I hope you are having a spectacular summer... I know our family is!! I am currently at the lake, but never fear... I have my ways of getting information to you!! **The Midget team will have their uniform fitting this Saturday, July 10, from 9am until 11am. The fitting will take place at The Tiger Den.** If you need directions, just let us know. If anyone is available, and can use a measuring tape, also, let us know! ok... back to your regularly scheduled summer events...

Hey Everybody!! Lots of good things are happening in our program!! The field house is FINISHED!!! We have named it "The Tiger Den"... Thanks to ALL who came out to help paint, lay floors, clean, tear out old nasties...You guys put the "rock" in Rockford!! We want to give a special shout out and some love to Kenny Wright!! He has been especially AWESOME doing all the yard work and things that are needed to keep our program moving in the right direction!! Can't wait for season to start... just a few short weeks!! Have a safe 4th of July!!

Hey there everybody! We are attempting to get the house on the football field property up and running and the kitchen turned into an actual concession stand for the upcoming season... (fingers crossed!!)

We are in need of a lot of items donated. We don't have money in the budget right now to buy a lot of big ticket items that are necessary to run a concession stand. If you are able, or know someone who has some small appliances laying around, or if you know of a good garage/yard/tag sale in the area. please take note of our "shopping list" and see if you can help out.
