Hi All. know most of you got the handout at the Eagle Bowl yeasterday, but for those of you who have already lost it, or weren't at the game, These are the important dates to remember in the next few weeks:
**Monday November 3- Equipment turn in. **You will meet at Rockford Elementary school at 6pm to turn in all equipment that was issued to you. This includes game pants, practice pants, pads, helmet. Your game jersey is yours to keep, as is anything that you bought yourself such as your mouth guard and socks, athletic supporter... This is for all teams.
Hi Guys- Just a quick update for you, if you weren't at practice last night... Thursday's practice has been canceled due to the Rockford Tigers Basketball home game.
The Eagle Bowl on Saturday will be played at Lanier. Pee-wee's need to be at the field by noon. Don't have any info for the Grasshoppers or Midgets. If you can fill in those blanks, feel free to do so in the comments section.
Big game tonight for the Pee-wees... Big Win tonight for the Pee-wees!!!!
Rockford Tiger Pee-Wee's won their playoff game tonight against Southside (Lanier) by a score of 27-7!!! Everybody played a huge role in tonight's win, and the whole team should be very proud!
We got a little video tonight, special thanks to Katie Diemer, who took control of the camera while the rockfordtigers.com staff was having personnel problems... (misbehaving kid!!) We'll get that up as soon as the A/V dept doesn't have homework.
What an exciting game last night!! It was edge of the seat exciting for all 4 quarters and then some! The Tiger Pee-Wee's beat the Friendsville Falcons 19 to 13 on overtime. Yep, that's right, overtime!
Hi guys. In case you weren't at practice on Friday, there has been a schedule change for the Pee-wee team. It concerns the games being played in Friendsville this week. If you have checked the schedule tab in the upper corner, you'll notice that all 3 teams were scheduled to play this Tuesday night, October the 7th. That has changed. The grasshoppers and the Midgets will play as scheduled, but the Pee-wee's game is being postponed until Thursday October 16th.
What a great game last night!! Pee-Wee's won a 6-0 victory over the Maryville Cubs, but more exciting that that, they won their Homecoming game!!
Things were tense the first half of the game. Coach David took his hat off twice!! But whatever pep talk was delivered at half time, the Tigers came out ready to pounce! They marched that ball down the field and on a 3rd and goal play, rammed that ball across into the end zone for a TD!! They missed the point after, but that was okay. That score gave them their 6-0 lead.
Hi Everybody! We have a few details on the Pee-Wee's fundraiser for this year... Pancake Breakfast!! The date will be Saturday October 18th.
If you have any further details to give, like where and what time... (last year it was Applebee's from ungodly early until reasonably before lunch :) ), please post them in the comments section here. Coach David is supposed to get some more information to us, so we'll post it on here when he does.
Hi Everybody. Our A/V department finally did a photo upload from "the little camera that could" today. Take a look! Linger with a cup of coffee and try to spot your favorite player(s)!
Wish we could be there with the pee-wee's tonight, but previous commitments have reared their heads. Many thanks to parents to take the helm for at these times!
Enjoy the pictures! We'll get more up there as we get them!
Hi everybody. After the little dustup at the Grasshoppers game on Saturday morning, the coaches thought it would be a good idea to remind everybody that good sportsmanship goes a long way towards making the games, and the all around experience, a good one for everyone.
WOW!!! That's about all I can say! The games tonight were very exciting and action packed. The Pee-wee's held their own, but lost 6 to 0 to Alcoa tonight. They played really hard ball... Look for a video to show up in the next day or so...
The Midgets had better luck, I hope! We had to leave at half time (little one needed bed, and 2 others were playing ball in Oneida), so I don't kow the final outcome. When we left, the midgets were manhandling the Alcoa Tornado Midgets 13-0. If you can fill in the blanks, it would be appreciated!
