Hey everybody... Practice has been cancelled tonight due to baseball practice, wrestling practice and the fact that Coach Brian and Coach Scotty are under the weather. Hopefully they'll be feeling better tomorrow and it won't rain and we'll be able to practice. Stay tuned for updates!!

Pee-Wee and Grasshoppers will practice this Thursday and Friday, March 4th and 5th. Pee-wee's will also practice on Saturday. Grasshoppers hadn't made a decision on Saturday that I've been made aware of... I have no information about next week. Will post it when I know something.

Equipment hand-outs went well this weekend. I think just about everyone is suited up for practice now! I will get a spring practice schedule up as soon as I get one.

Our wrestling meet went well this past Saturday... if not loooooooooooong... We had a bunch of medal winners and got to watch some of the high school wrestlers technique. Fascinating, the way they maneuver their opponents! Hope our boys were paying attention and learned something! We're at Pigeon Forge High School this coming Saturday for Regionals!

Ok... Grasshoppers have no change to their equipment handout schedule. Sunday the 28th at Rockford Park at 2pm.

Midgets will handout their equipment on Friday evening the 26th at the school at 6pm.

Pee-Wee's will handout their equipment on Saturday the 27th at Rockford Park at 2pm.

Please contact your coach if you have a scheduling conflict to make other arrangements to get the equipment.

Hi guys! Coach Brian wanted me to let you know that the Grasshoppers will be handing out equipment on Sunday February 28th at Rockford Park at 2pm.
I do not know about the Midgets and Pee-wee's. Will post the details when I get them.

There is no wrestling tournament this weekend, so we actually get to sleep in on Saturday! YAY!! We will have practice Friday night the 19th... aka tomorrow night.

I guess that's it for tonight...

Hi everyone... It's wrestling picture time again!

WRESTLING PICTURES - FEBRUARY 23RD
Coach Rob will try to have picture order forms at practice on Monday the 22nd. Please have this form filled out and be prepared to pay in advance on Tuesday. This photo session will be time consuming so please be there by 6:00 p.m.

Hi everyone!! In case you haven't heard, Sign-ups for the 2010 season are this Saturday February 13th from 10am til 2pm. We will have an alternate date for those of you who cannot make it on Saturday due to wrestling tournaments or travel or other sports commitments. That date is Thursday the 18th from 6 until 7pm. Sign-ups will be in Rockford Elementary School's Gym. Players need to be at least age 7 but September 1st and no older than 12 by that same date. Make sure you have birth certificates and registration fees with you at the time of sign-up.

Hi everybody... hope you dried out after standing out in the rain last night to turn in our donut orders... Hope nobody catches cold...

We have the Mountaineer Open Tournament at Heritage High School tomorrow. Middle School Weigh in is from 7-7:30 am... they wrestle at 8:30.

Bantam and Junior divisions weigh in at 11-11:30am... they wrestle at 12:30pm.

Tots and Midgets divisions weigh in at 3:30-4 pm... the wrestle at 5pm.

Hey guys... found out today that we are going to extend the Krispy Kreme Donut fundraiser until Thursday the 4th of February. This will give everyone a few more days and one more church night to get some more sold! The winter weather this weekend closed many area churches and people were left without that day to go and worship and sell their fellow parishioners some yummy donuts... lol!! Anyway... We hope this helps you and your wrestler out!

Hi everybody... having fun in the snow?? Luckily it hasn't cancelled the tournament tomorrow... as of 8pm this evening, we are still a go, but it has been put on a time delay. Instead of an 8am weigh in, it's moved to 11am. So, a little extra sleep for you who are going... it's a good thing!

If it gets cancelled in total, we'll let you know... tune in here for further details or check out the facebook group Rockford Youth Sports. All the details are there as well. Between myself and the team moms... we have the scoop for you!! (thanks Carey!!)
